Preskov AD - Production of hot forged parts

Preskov AD, founded in 1900, is one of the oldest and biggest manufacturers of hot forged parts in Bulgaria that are made of carbon and alloyed steel.

The company produces a wide range of forgings with weight from 0.500 kg to 55 kg. The products are used in various branches such as energy industry, machine engineering, auto and railway transport, agriculture, hydraulics, mining, manufacture of lifting and construction machines.

The tool manufacturing process (design and construction of dies for presses and air-steam hammer) is backed by the advanced IDEAS CAD-CAM system as well as by the Q-FORM forging simulating programme which helps the manufacturing process optimization.

Preskov AD has implemented certificates for design, development and manufacture of forgings and tooling including EN ISO 9001:2000 quality management system and EN ISO 14001:2004 environmental management system.

The production facilities of the company are situated in the industrial area of the city of Stara Zagora. They include preparation shop, forging shop, thermal treatment shop and cleaning shop.
